​Bowtech Bowen Therapy is appropriate for everyone from newborns to the elderly.Highly trained athletes and pregnant woman benefit equally each according to need. Although there are three circumstances where Bowen treatment is contraindicated, there are no contra indications for a Bowen treatment, as other parts of the body and the body as a whole can benefit. History of Tom Bowen​
Thomas A Bowen ( 1916-1982 ) developed his therapy in Geelong, Victoria. Over a period of years he developed the system as it is used today. In 1974 while attending a National Health Conference he invited Osteopath & Natural Therapist Oswald Rentsch to study with him. Over the next 2 1/2 years Mr Rentsch documented all of Bowen's work and in 1992 commenced Tom Bowens wish to see his work taught, implementing a teacher training program.
