My name is Mark Palmer owner and operator of Bowenz Bowen
Therapy & Kinesiology Clinic.

It was in 1996 while living in Mackay, Queensland that I was introduced to Bowen Therapy. After completing initial training in Bowtech, I returned to live in Cairns where I established my Bowen Therapy Practice. Soon after, I studied and gained my qualification in Kinesiology and operated my clinic until 2005. In 2006 I returned home to Christchurch and in 2008 I established Bowenz.
Bowtech Bowen Therapy & Kinesiology are very effective simple techniques that assist people of all ages to improve their health.
 Comments such as, 'The Bowen technique is possibly the greatest discovery ever in health care', are borne out by the amazing results obtained throughout the world by this non-invasive, all-embracing modality.  Arguably, the only holistic discipline in the world, the Bowen technique is revolutionising the field of health care, where the work is taught and used correctly.
 Kinesiology utilizes muscle testing to balance the body’s energy levels, great for physical, educational, emotional, nutritional & overall wellness. Integrating the brain with the body is at the forefront of Kinesiology principles and encompasses the theory of Chinese acupuncture points and meridian lines.
In 2001, I was introduced to the bio mechanical Martial Art of Choi Kwang Do. An amazing art based on scientific principles, Choi Kwang Do has been designed with Kinesiologists & Doctors to be friendly to the body and has helped me greatly in understanding better the bio mechanical functions of the body. I run the only affiliated school here in Christchurch – check out the website : www.choikwangdo.co.nz
